Holly Gainsboro, founder of Golden Heart Grief Support & Education, is a Grief Support Specialist & Grief Educator. Holly’s late husband, Steven, died in December 2010, from glioblastoma. Her depth of understanding brain tumors, the effects they have not only on patients but families, as well, enables her to be fully present for others experiencing various losses. She didn’t stop there as she continued her studies and became an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute, followed by certifications as a Grief Educator from world renowned grief expert, David Kessler, and a Grief Support Specialist from the University of Wisconsin. Holly works 1:1 with women who have lost a loved one to a brain tumor, facilitates grief support groups, and leads grief education workshops for various organizations.
